Natty Smith was raised in the dancing community. He began morris dancing on Tom Kruskal’s children’s team Hop Brook in Sudbury, MA. With Hop Brook, then Candyrapper and Great Meadows Morris and Sword, and now the Pinewoods Morris Men, Maple Morris, and Thames Valley International, Natty can be found dancing or playing fiddle for morris and sword all over New England and southeastern Canada every spring and summer. He currently helps teach and plays fiddle for Great Meadows Morris and Sword, and played fiddle for Candyrapper VSOP’s winning dance at the DART 2011 competition. He and his family attended Ogontz Family Week for much of his childhood, and he is excited to return this summer!
