Desiree Halcombe

Desiree is an elementary music teacher, choral conductor, and mom of two daughters, ages 19 and 14. She has taught in both public and independent school settings in MD and NJ, and currently teaches Lower School Music at William Penn Charter School in Philadelphia, PA. She is also Interim Artistic Director for the Trenton Children’s Chorus in Trenton, New Jersey, a K-12 after school program that empowers the academic and social development of children through artistry in music. Desiree attended her first CDSS camp with her daughter in 2015, one of the best parenting decisions she’s ever made. She has enjoyed returning with her family as a camper and staff member over the years.
