Jamie Bunce taught high school choir and music theory in New Jersey for thirteen years and is now a full time student, having moved to South Florida to pursue her DMA in choral conducting at the University of Miami. Prior to her move, she was also an Associate Director of the Princeton Girlchoir and an adjunct choral professor at Wagner College. She is a guest conductor, contemporary a cappella arranger, and clinician who has been featured in Chorus America for bringing early music into the high school choral classroom.
She loves, above all other pursuits, singing with other people, and spends most of her waking life doing so. She *really* loves to learn and share all kinds of music, from large master works to spirituals to silly songs, shanties, laments, renaissance motets, bawdy madrigals, and more and more and more. She *really really* loves to help people of all experience levels uncover their innate musicianship and to connect with their own unique voices and with one another through ensemble singing. She can’t wait to return to Camp Cavell and make music with everyone!
