Benedict Gagliardi is a Rhode Island-based singer and multi-instrumentalist, and one third of The Vox Hunters. An avid rejuvenator of old songs (especially those related to insects, natural history, or Rhode Island), he advocates for oral tradition and communal re-creation of folk songs. Benedict organizes and supports local social music in the Providence area and, with his bandmates Armand Aromin and Flannery Brown, has hosted a thriving pub sing since 2016. Whether joining in the chorus, or a good song, or jamming away on a wild dance tune, Benedict likes to be where the music is.
