Dr. Jamie Bunce is a choral conductor, singer, arranger, and clinician. In her home state of New Jersey, she taught high school choir for thirteen years, served as Associate Director of the Princeton Girlchoir, and directed the Wagner College Treble Choir. A lover of early music, she has been featured in Chorus America for bringing early music into the high school choral classroom. She has sung with professional ensembles such as Gallicantus, Seraphic Fire, the Philadelphia Symphonic Choir, and Blue Earth Camerata. She currently serves as Assistant Director of Choral Activities at Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas, AKA “The Little Apple.” She loves, above all other pursuits, singing with other people, and spends most of her waking life doing so. She *really* loves to explore and share all kinds of music, from large master works to short, silly songs, renaissance motets, African American spirituals, bawdy madrigals, anything Bach, and more and more and more. She *really really* loves to help people of all experience levels uncover their innate musicianship and to connect with their own unique voices and with one another through ensemble singing. She can’t wait for Harmony Week!
