The noises of modern life are replaced by music and the sounds of dancers, singers and the laughter from the waterfront and other gatherings. For a week, cars are tucked away, transportation is by foot, there are no computers or TVs, and the “outside” world fades away—you are at camp!

CDSS uses four different and wonderful camp locations for our programs – click on one of them to find out more!

Accessibility

CDSS will work with its facilities to make reasonable modifications for individuals requiring accessibility accommodations under the Americans for Disability Act (ADA). CDSS Camp Programs are held at rustic locations. Our week-long camps are housed at facilities that may not offer some accommodations for different accessibility issues. Please direct requests and questions to the Director of Camp Programs at camp@cdss.org. Reasonable modifications/accommodations will be made on a case by case basis at the discretion of the CDSS Executive Director and CDSS Director of Camp Programs.

Fragrance-Free Guidelines

Pinewoods Camp is a fragrance-free facility, and the camp supplies unscented soap and shampoo in all bathrooms. At our other locations, CDSS asks campers not to bring scented products (e.g. perfumes, shampoo, etc.), in order to help create a safe environment for people with chemical sensitivities.
