Erin Talvitie

Erin has been a lifelong Camper’s Week attendee and can’t wait to get back to camp! In her non-camp life she’s a Professor of Computer Science at Harvey Mudd College in Claremont, CA, so you can expect a lot of PowerPoint at morning gatherings. Nah, just kidding. She’s hosted a bunch of gatherings; she knows the deal. Then again, the last time she was on the Camper’s Week staff was 2017. That feels like a million years ago. She can barely remember that far back. And so much has changed! The pavilions changed names (and so did Erin!); porches got bigger; there are bathrooms where there didn’t used to be bathrooms. Morning gathering audiences expect flashy clothes and an opening jingle now. Maybe she doesn’t have what it takes anymore. Maybe she never really did! Can she still hack it on the pavilion circuit? Will she crash and burn on the Hands Across stage? Maybe! What do I know? I’m just a humble bio writer. Only time will tell….
