Dance, Music, & Song Camps
After a thirty-year career of leading traditional dance, singing and storytelling at elementary schools, elementary music teacher conferences, and CDSS summer camps, Peter Amidon has shifted into a life devoted to all things choral. He is the co-Director of both the Guilford (VT) Community Church Choir, and the Hallowell hospice singers. His choral arrangements of traditional songs, spirituals, gospel and hymns, are being sung by choruses throughout the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia. Peter and his wife/colleague Mary Alice have published over one hundred of their choral arrangements and compositions in two book/CD collections and on their online choral sheet music download website amidonchoralmusic.com, and Peter has produced over one hundred virtual choir pieces with the Guilford (VT) Community Church Choir for their online services over the last sixteen months.
